Wolf Pack
I had such a wonderful session with a beautiful second-time mama, Lynan. She was looking forward to her henna appointment, especially since she shared that she doesn't get a lot of personal time for her own passions and interests, aside from her daughter and family. It was clear how much this session meant to her as a moment for herself.
She has actually loved henna since she was a teenager and recounted a lovely story of her friend returning from India, and them adorning their hands and feet together. It was inspiring to hear about her deep appreciation for the art form.
For her design, her initial ideas were sparked by the lotus, which she saw as a powerful symbol for rebirth and enlightenment, embodying her journey through motherhood and birth. Additionally, she resonated with the symbolism of the wild wolf and the full moon, often affectionately referring to her family as her "wolf pack." It was a privilege to create a design that incorporated such meaningful elements for her.

Lynan returned to my art studio with her family a few days after our session, when her henna was at its peak in color. It was wonderful to see how vibrant and beautiful it looked.
