Hannunvaakuna

Jenni let me know ahead of time about her design requests and I was excited to begin sketching. She's originally from Finland, and wanted the looped square symbol "Hannunvaakuna" (believed to ward off bad luck in the old days) as well as snowflakes. I really enjoyed creating this snowy landscape on her pregnant belly. 

She brought her daughters as well and after the henna design was complete, I dressed them both up for some photos with them. It's so sweet to include children in pregnancy photos! They were fascinated by the body art their mama was wearing.
