Althea reached out last October, expecting her second daughter and seeking a way to connect even deeper with feminine energy. She saw henna adornment as a sacred experience and was open to design ideas, and shared a few concepts that resonated with her: moon, mandalas, ferns, moths, and the golden ratio. I'm honored to have woven these threads into this unique henna design for her!

Althea returned after 3 days when her henna was peaking in color. She brought along her sweet little daughter, who was happy to dress up with us! It was cold, but we all stepped outside and got some beautiful images with the changing colors of fall.
I love how this little girl is holding onto her mama’s pregnant belly, so very sweet.
